Connecting global supply markets with Africa's rapidly evolving energy demand.
Selorm Okrah is a strategic business originations executive and physical commodities trader with almost two decades of experience across the oil and gas value chain in West Africa. Over a career spanning petroleum trading, downstream infrastructure development, innovative financing structures, and cross-border deal execution, he has built a reputation for structuring complex, high-impact transactions that connect global supply markets with Africa's rapidly evolving energy demand.
He is the Founder and CEO of Fulcrum Energy LLC, a boutique Dubai-based advisory and trading company focused on energy, commodities, and infrastructure opportunities across Africa. Through Fulcrum and its Ghana affiliate, Fulcrum Energy Ghana, Selorm plays an active role in facilitating crude oil supply, refined product offtake, and strategic partnerships with emerging refineries and downstream operators. His work centers on enabling reliable energy flows into African markets while supporting the development of resilient, integrated supply chains.
Selorm is also currently a Board Member and Chief Operating Officer of Mobility Ownership & Technology Platform (MOTIP), an asset-backed mobility finance and technology platform that enables high-performing ride-hailing drivers to access electric vehicles through structured financing. This role reflects his broader commitment to sustainable energy solutions and innovative financing models that drive inclusive access to clean mobility across Africa.
Before establishing Fulcrum, Selorm served as Head of Business Originations at Ammital Trading DMCC in Dubai, where he led the company's expansion across West Africa with a strong emphasis on Ghana. In this role, he originated and negotiated crude and refined product transactions, built strategic alliances with national oil companies, refineries, bulk distribution companies, and financial institutions, and structured innovative trade-finance mechanisms to unlock large-scale energy movements into the region.
Prior to Ammital, he was Managing Director of Stratcon Energy and Trading DMCC, an oil trading company he helped build from the ground up after relocating from Ghana to Dubai in 2021 to broaden his exposure to global energy markets. His earlier professional journey includes impactful roles at Sahara Energy, UBI Petroleum, and ultimately as Head of the Trading Desk for Trafigura's Ghana operations through Blueocean Investments and Puma Energy, both Trafigura group companies.
With a strong track record of building relationships at the highest levels of government, finance, and industry, Selorm is widely regarded as a trusted intermediary between international suppliers and African markets. His work continues to influence the evolution of energy access, infrastructure development, and commercial partnerships across the continent.
